The CryoMan-SMR™ team will be heading to the Gastech 14 conference and exhibition in Seoul, South Korea this week to promote its innovative and efficient gas liquefaction process.
Professionals, companies and various other interested parties within the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) industries flock to the event, which takes place every 18 months and which features a robust programme of papers and technical seminars.
The CryoMan-SMR™ consortium’s Simon Clarke from UMIP, The University of Manchester’s agent for Intellectual Property commercialisation will be attending the four-day event, which runs from Monday March 24th to Thursday 27th.
“The Gastech Conference offers a great opportunity for CryoMan-SMR™, enabling us to present our process and technology to members of the entire LNG supply chain.”
The 2012 London event was fantastic for the consortium, which managed to ignite the interest of a number of leading companies. One of these is currently carrying out an assessment of our proprietary process.
CryoMan-SMR™ is ideally placed to service an industry where increases in efficiency are so highly sought-after. Companies in the sector expend a great deal of time and effort on achieving modest improvements, so it’s no surprise that there’s such a great deal of interest in our approach – which can deliver significant productivity gains whilst retaining simplicity of design and construction. In many cases, it may be possible to retrofit CryoMan-SMR™ on to existing plant,” he said.
The Gastech Exhibition serves some of the industry’s most valuable decision-makers and buyers, providing an invaluable hub for organisations and individuals interested in networking and building strategic partnerships.
Similarly, its conference programme will see leading delegates from across the globe come together to discuss important industry issues, including the growing demand for gas and LNG in Asia, significant new commercial and technical opportunities, as well as a wealth of ground-breaking new project presentations.
